KASA was the project manager for the rehabilitation of the historic and iconic Bank of Italy building in San Jose. KASA worked with the preservation architect to assess the contributing features of the 125,000 sf building and to write a demolition scope of work to bid to contractors. This included a cost benefit assessment of the level of work necessary for the exterior façade.
In parallel, KASA managed the design team to document the market-ready core and shell improvement specified as an office/retail mixed-use project. KASA worked with a pre-construction contractor to formulate a budget. KASA went on to manage the abatement and demolition work.
